Steve Mills has been counseling clients in the acquisition and protection of Intellectual Property rights, including patents and trademarks, for over 25 years. Steve serves a wide range of clients, including publicly traded multinational corporations, educational institutions, small closely-held companies, and individuals.

Steve works closely with his clients in developing, maintaining and protecting their intellectual property portfolios, and in using their intellectual property to protect their business markets.  He advises and represents clients on a wide array of patent and trademark matters, including U.S. and foreign patent prosecution, patent validity, infringement and licensing matters, corporate transactions, and opposition and litigation proceedings.  He has extensive experience in a variety of technology areas, such as electronics, optics, medical devices, computer hardware and software, mechanical devices and systems, and environmental control devices and systems.
