Victoria Calcagno

Associate

overview

Victoria Calcagno is an associate in the Private Client Group, focusing on trusts and estates. With a thorough knowledge of estate administration, tax planning, and special needs planning, she works closely with clients to help them address their unique goals and circumstances. That involves drafting documents to prepare for incapacity, assess potential tax liabilities, and allocate asset disposition upon death.

Her motivation for selecting her career specialization is personal – she decided she wanted to practice estate planning after watching an attorney prepare her grandparents’ estate plan. “My grandfather has dementia, and we were worried about their assets being protected should he ever have to be moved into an assisted living facility. After witnessing the attorney reassure my grandparents and skillfully draft a plan to safeguard their assets, I knew that I wanted to help protect other families like mine.”
