Michael W. Stack

Mike Stack is an associate in the Corporate practice. He works on matters relating to business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital and emerging companies, cannabis business and law, and more.

Though he is early in his career, Mike is known for his dependability and versatility on deal teams. He enjoys acting as a sounding board for clients and assisting with advice, and prioritizes identifying his clients’ core needs while collaborating to form a roadmap.

Mike is particularly energized by finding solutions that seemed distant or impossible at the outset of a matter. “It is a rewarding and very personal experience to help businesses get to where they want to go, as many clients have spent years or lifetimes building their businesses.”

Mike received his J.D. degree from Northeastern University School of Law. During law school, he worked at the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, Northeastern University’s Office of the General Counsel, and the Massachusetts Securities Division. He also served on the Editorial Board of the Northeastern University Law Review. Before attending law school, Mike began his professional career working in financial services in Boston. He joined Burns & Levinson in 2021 after participating in the firm’s Summer Associate Program.
