overview

Michael DeIulis is a partner in the firm's Business Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group. He represents clients in a wide range of commercial disputes in state and federal courts, as well as alternative dispute resolution forums. His practice focuses on complex business tort, contract, employment, defamation, and securities claims. He has also successfully represented clients in white-collar investigations and various maritime matters.

Having served as a trusted advisor and advocate to companies of all sizes across multiple industries, Michael appreciates that not all clients have the same outlook, resources, or objectives. He takes great care to understand his clients’ businesses and values and uses that perspective to help them successfully navigate the litigation process or create dispute avoidance strategies.

One of Michael’s greatest assets is his ability to translate complicated legal strategies into a clear path forward. Whether in communication with clients or distilling complex legal arguments before the Court, he prides himself on being the most prepared person in the room.

Prior to joining Burns & Levinson, Michael was a litigation associate in the Boston office of a large international law firm.
