Courtney recognizes that navigating through Probate & Family Court, the shock of DCF becoming involved with a family and loved ones suffering from mental health issues is not intuitive. These situations involve a great deal of emotions that can all too often cloud the ability to act in the family’s best interest, whether intentional or not. She works closely with her clients to be at their disposal, to guide them through these processes from beginning to end in all relevant areas, including but not limited to divorce, modifications, contempts, custody and/or child support battles, alimony, removal cases, paternity actions, commitment hearings, securing emergency guardianship and conservatorships, and noting that it is never too late to seek assistance.

As a professional, Courtney recognizes the need to plan for the future and the unknown and has experience assisting clients with safeguarding assets through pre- and post-nuptial agreements.

She is not a stranger to the courtroom, having spent time in both the Probate & Family Court and District Court. In the event a case is unable to be settled, she is ready to litigate to achieve her clients’ desired goals.
