Burns & Levinson announces that Dr. Ronda P. Moore and Deborah J. Peckham have been named Co-Chairs of the Intellectual Property/SciTech Group. Additionally, Howard J. Susser has been named Chair of the Intellectual Property Litigation Group, a practice within the Intellectual Property/SciTech Group. Dr. Ronda P. Moore is a member of the Intellectual Property/SciTech and Life Sciences Groups. In her legal practice, Dr. Moore applies her experience as a veterinarian and scientist and her background in pathology to provide legal advice in all aspects of intellectual property to inventors and senior management of pharmaceutical, biologic, medical device and medical diagnostic companies, start-ups and emerging companies, venture capital, as well as colleges and universities. Deborah J. Peckham is a member of the Intellectual Property/SciTech and Life Sciences Groups. In her practice, she provides intellectual property counseling and enforcement to clients, with a focus on strategic acquisition and maintenance of domestic and international intellectual property assets, including trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. Ms. Peckham’s practice also encompasses privacy, data protection and information law issues. Howard J. Susser is a member of the Intellectual Property/SciTech, Life Sciences, Business Litigation, International and Science & Technology Groups. He has extensive experience in litigation involving patent, trademark, false advertising, unfair competition, copyright, licensing, trade secret, employment, and antitrust laws. Mr. Susser has represented clients in computer hardware and software, telecommunications, electronics, Internet, e-commerce, pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, chemicals and numerous other high- and low-technology industries as to intellectual property and related matters.
